Protests continue across Iran in multiple cities



The video showcases the wide spread of the riot police in Mashhad, specifically near education centers like a language school. There has been wide spread protest among university students and most recently in high schools.

The city of Mashhad is seeing many protests but the riot police also is active with full force since strategically Rasht is the second most religious city in Iran, home to the holy site of burial of the 8th Emam of Moslems, Reza.


It has a population of 3,001,184 inhabitants (2016 census) and Ethnically it is Persians (92.5%).




Protests continue in Velenjak, near Evin Prison, a traditionally affluent northern neighborhood in Tehran. Protesters reportedly are protesting at 2:40 am, chanting "Death to dictator" and "Death to Khamenei".

Tehran is a city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. With a population of around 9 million in the city and 15 million in the larger metropolitan area of Greater Tehran, Tehran is the most populous city in Iran and Western Asia,[ and has the second-largest metropolitan area in the Middle East, after Cairo. It is ranked 24th in the world by metropolitan area population.
