At the time of the publication of this post, Evin Prison, the most notorious prison in Iran, located in Tehran that houses the greatest number of decedents and political prisoners is burning. Typically, the political prisoners consist of social, women rights and environmental activists, writers, artists, comedians, family members of political prisoners, high school and university students, film makers and musicians and so much more. There is wide spread fear that the fire is to kill the political prisoners en mass. A tragedy very much reminiscent of the massive murderous fire of Cinema Rex which famously was blamed on the Shah's regime, later proven to be done by supporters of Khomeini.
